Places to visit in Falkland Islands
The Falklands are made up of two main islands and around 750 smaller ones. Most wildlife trips focus on a handful of outer islands, each with its own character and species, reached by light aircraft. Here’s where we recommend spending your time.

Flexible, custom-made holidays to Latin America created to match your exact requirements: our tailor-made itineraries are as unique as the clients for whom they are designed.
Bleaker Island
White-sand beaches, abundant marine life and thriving penguin colonies make Bleaker Island Falklands one of the archipelago’s most beautiful wildlife destinations. Around 85km south-west of Stanley, we think it offers some of the finest opportunities anywhere in the Falklands for nature lovers and wildlife photographers.
East Falkland
Wildlife-rich coastlines, historic battlefields and the archipelago’s capital come together on East Falkland, the true heart of these Falkland Islands holidays. As the largest and most populated island in the Falklands, East Falkland is home to Stanley, dramatic coastal scenery and some of the most significant sites associated with the 1982 Falklands War.
Pebble Island
Wildlife and wartime history come together amid dramatic South Atlantic landscapes on Pebble Island Falklands. Around 115km north-west of Stanley, the island takes its name from the unusually rounded stones found along its western shoreline. Today we know it both for its wildlife-rich habitats and the role it played during the 1982 Falklands conflict.
Sea Lion Island
One of the Falklands’ premier wildlife destinations, Sea Lion Island combines dramatic coastlines, pristine beaches and remarkable wildlife viewing. Penguins, seabirds and marine mammals can all be seen close to the island’s accommodation and walking trails, making it one of the South Atlantic’s most rewarding wildlife experiences.
