National Geographic Islander II
A refined 48-guest, all-suite Galápagos expedition vessel combining spacious accommodation with expert-led exploration and a comprehensive range of expedition equipment.
Carrying 48 guests in 26 suites, the National Geographic Islander II is an all-suite expedition vessel with a near 1:1 guest-to-crew ratio. The emphasis is firmly on exploration, with an experienced expedition team leading daily activities including guided walks, snorkelling, kayaking and Zodiac excursions.
A full range of equipment is carried, allowing all guests to be out exploring at the same time. Accommodation is spacious and consistent across the ship, with all suites featuring large panoramic windows, seating areas and marble bathrooms. The overall standard is high, with a refined, contemporary finish and a strong emphasis on comfort and space. A small number of larger suites provide additional room and enhanced facilities.
Public spaces include wraparound teak decks, an observation deck, indoor-outdoor dining and a lounge for daily briefings and recaps. A dedicated Science Hub and strong connection to local staff and sourcing reflect an emphasis on conservation and the destination itself.
