El Remanso
Relaxed lodge in a secluded area of natural beauty, set above a private beach. A peaceful place to stay, in harmony with its jungle surroundings.
The romantic El Remanso lodge is set above a delightful wild beach within its own tropical reserve near Corcovado National Park, one of the most biodiverse areas in the world.
The nearest town is a bumpy 22km drive away, adding to the sense of seclusion and adventure. Expect to see howler monkeys, toucans and macaws around the grounds and on guided naturalist walks in the wildlife-rich surroundings. Other optional activities include waterfall rappelling (canyoning) or ziplining through a forest canopy.
With just a dozen guest rooms and cottages, the lodge has a peaceful and intimate feel. Natural materials are prominent in the décor of the cabañas, which also feature a restful veranda area, with spacious rooms and suites. There is also a semi-outdoor restaurant, bar and swimming pool.
