Taha Tai Hotel
Taha Tai Hotel offers relaxed accommodation close to the Pacific shoreline in Easter Island.
In common with most accommodation on Chile’s Easter Island, Taha Tai Hotel is an understated, unpretentious property with an informal atmosphere. Close to Hanga Roa, it’s only a couple of minutes’ stroll from the shore and 2km from major archaeological site Ahu Tahai, where silent stone statues stand sentinel over a grassy plain.
The red-roofed single-storey main building houses bright and airy wood-panelled guest rooms, which have verandas and patio doors. Down a gently-sloping path, you’ll find a bar, dining room and compact simply furnished cottage-style chalets.
There are serene ocean views from the restaurant and most rooms. The hotel is set in breezy tropical gardens with an outdoor pool and loungers, perfect for relaxing after a day out exploring.
