Viñales and the Sierra de los Organos holidays
Viñales and the Sierra de los Organos holidays at a glance

It’s the Viñales Valley Cuba postcards are made of. Set in Pinar del Río, the country’s greenest province, the valley is known for its towering limestone mogotes, fertile tobacco plantations and farming traditions that go back generations. UNESCO recognises it as a World Cultural Landscape, and it’s easy to see why: this is some of the most striking scenery and rewarding walking country in Cuba.
Life moves slower here than in much of the rest of the island. Tobacco leaves dry in wooden barns, farmers work fields ringed by dramatic rock formations, and the pace drops the moment you leave the main road. Whether you’re hiking, cycling past plantations or exploring hidden caves, you’ll get a proper feel for rural Cuban life.
The small town of Viñales itself makes a welcoming base, right in the shadow of the mogotes and within easy reach of the wider Sierra de los Órganos.
