Where’s the best place to eat Ceviche in Lima?
Laura Rendell-Dunn - Product & Marketing
Absolutely! Two places that spring to mind are 'La Canta Rana', a charming cevichería located in the bohemian district of Barranco, and 'Pescados Capitales' which you’ll find on Avenida La Mar, Miraflores. Both restaurants are extremely popular with Peruvians so get there early! 'Pescados Capitales' is more expensive but the dishes there are divine and are worth every penny.
I always order grilled baby octopus (pulpito a la parrilla), queen scallops (conchitas a la parmesana), octopus and sea bass ceviche (ceviche de pulpo y corvina) and if you’re still feeling hungry definitely try the deep fried squid (chicharrón de calamar). Note ceviche is eaten at lunch time in Peru – enjoy!
