Where to eat in Havana?

La Bodeguita del Medio was a favourite haunt of Ernest Hemingway during his time in Havana. Go to eat, or just to sample the world-famous mojito. Other recommendations include La Guarida or try Paladar Guajirito in the Parque Central area – this Wild West themed paladar is particularly atmospheric when there is a power cut! Food is plentiful though and well worth waiting for.
Los Nardos opposite the Capitolio building has a romantic atmosphere with candle-lit tables. Music comes by way of grand piano and accompanying violin player. Tasty food, quick service!
