Flights Rio to Lima

The merger between British and Airways and Iberia has really opened up the Latin American flights network. It is now possible to fly direct to one of BA’s gateway cities (Rio, Sao Paolo, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Cancun, San Jose* and Lima*) and fly back via Madrid from one of Iberia’s 20 plus Latin destinations – or vice versa. As one of the world’s biggest airline groups BA/IB also benefit from greatly discounted rates with many of Latin America’s domestic carriers, so you can buy your onward travel to dozens of smaller destinations without the hassle and expense of buying a separate ticket. Of course, British Airways also has some great add-on fares from all UK domestic points too, so you can also fly from your local airport at little extra cost.
If you want to add a bit more comfort to your journey, you could also consider upgrading your ticket. British Airways offers a 4 cabin service – World Traveller (economy); World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy); Club World (business class) and First Class. Iberia has both economy and its excellent award winning Business Plus. The flexibility of their fares mean you can fly out in one class and back in another. For example, you may like to try one of the wonderfully comfortable flat bed business class seats on an overnight flight back from RIO, but be happy to sit in economy on the outbound day flight.
