If travelling during winter (June – October) bring thermal underwear.
Any good food, drinks, restaurants or bars recommendation?
Parrilla in the Port Market in Montevideo are top choices. In general Parillas are great –lots of meat and chimichuri!
Room for improvement?
Longer seasons – at the end of Feb everyone leaves and it’s really quiet until Easter. Though that could also be a good thing.
How would you summarise/ sum up your trip in a sentence?
It reminds people of home – from every country. Every traveller feels it has something of their own country and feel at home.
