Here you will find your full set of Travel Documents, including a copy of your detailed itinerary with day-by-day summary of your holiday arrangements as well as the contact details for all of the hotels you will be staying at and for our local representatives who will be looking after you in each area.

This is where your flight e-tickets are stored. At the top of these you will see your flight “Booking reservation number”. This is what you will need to provide at the airport check-in desk (or self-service check-in kiosk) to exchange for your flight boarding pass.

You will also find a copy of our Briefing Dossier to help you prepare and get excited about your holiday and to refer to while you are away. It includes helpful travel information about your destinations including what to pack, information on currencies and other money matters, a guide to local costs, travel health information and even recommended film, music and reading lists for each country.

If there are any trekking excursions or car-hire packages included in your holiday then this is also where any documents related to these will be stored.

The first time you access your maps you will be asked to “Load Offline Maps”. This will require WIFI and we recommend you do it at your first opportunity. By selecting to load offline maps your holiday route maps will be downloaded to your mobile device or tablet so that from then on you will be able to view them offline, without needing to be connected to the internet.

When the maps are downloaded you will see the exact locations of your hotels pin-pointed on the map, as well as restaurants, bars and other attractions that have been recommended by other Journey Latin America clients or by our own staff and local representatives.

You can click on a pin-pointed restaurant or attraction to display its name and to view a comment about it via the “I” information button and, if they have a website reservations option you can even book your tables via the app.

This shows you the current weather information for the destinations you will be visiting on your holiday. Please note it is not a forecast for your travel dates, but will of course be just that at the time your are travelling. Please be aware that you will need to be connected to WIFI for the weather information to update successfully.

This section will send you live updates on when and where each flight you’ll take as part of your holiday will be. From your phone screen, you’ll be able to check your terminal and gate number and receive alerts if any one of your flights are delayed. Please note that WiFi is required for flight information to update successfully.

The Posts section is a handy digital diary where you can save trip notes and upload your favourite photos whilst on the go. As well as being a great way to save your memories, you can grant friends and family members access to this part of the app so that they can stay up to date with your travels.
