When to go to Southern Pacific Coast
November - April
There is plenty of sunshine and the climate remains hot and humid. With little to no rain during these months, by April the landscapes are parched and arid. December - January are the busiest months for visitors, though there are other cultural events which attract crowds. In April, Huatulco hosts the Fiesta del Mar, while November is a busy month in Puerto Escondido with traditional folk dancing for the Festival Costeño de la Danza and a surfing tournament.
