Cycle around the lake shore for a close-up view of the stunning scenery and the chance to experience the relaxed pace of life in small Mayan villages.

The ethereal waters of Lake Atitlán are the glittering centrepiece of a scenic area abounding in nature, culture and rural charm. You’ll see these tranquil landscapes from an ideal viewpoint on our mountain bike tour, which winds along the lake shore to take in sweeping vistas and offer a glimpse of life in the many small Mayan communities that live off the fertile land.

The route passes a number of the most attractive towns fringing the lake’s sapphire surface. After cycling to San Marcos la Laguna, stopping for a break at a lakeside beach, and finally continuing past San Marcos to San Pablo, you’ll return by boat to Panajachel.
