Whale watching in Ecuador

Take to the seas to see humpback whales breaching in Machalilla National Park.
Between June and October, Ecuador’s Pacific waters are the stage for a magnificent natural spectacle. On a specialist whale-watching boat trip you could find yourself awed by the sight of a colossal tail smashing down with violent force against the surface of the water, or a head rising up to reveal a knowing eye beneath rows of barnacles. This is a breeding ground for the humpback whale, one of the largest and most impressive creatures to be seen on the planet.
