When to go to Baracoa
December to May
During the high season in Baracoa, the weather tends to be sunny, not too humid and fairly dry, though you may experience one or two cooler days. This is an ideal time to visit lush cocoa plantations, enjoy the unspoilt white-sand beaches, or hike to the top of the table mountain Yunque.

June - November
June marks the beginning of the wet season, with the heaviest rains setting in from late July. Temperatures do not vary much, but humidity will be at its highest. Between August and November there is a possibility of hurricanes and tropical storms. The rains are not usually persistent and you’ll find there are clear intervals, when you may wish to explore the alluring historical town and sample the Aztec-inspired chocolate drink known as chorote, produced in local cocoa plantations.
