Le Cameleon
Unique colour-changing boutique hotel set in a tropical garden beside the beach, near to Cahuita National Park.
Le Cameleon boutique hotel that lives up to its name is just across from Cocles Beach, near the wildlife havens of Gandoca Manzanillo and Cahuita National Park.
Set in a tropical garden flanked by trees are 23 rooms, decorated in white and minimalist in style. Optic fibre lighting behind the beds allows the colour of the room to change as it casts tints of varying shades onto the walls. In the outdoor bar, too, the glow of the lights subtly blends from one hue to the next. Most unusually of all, after your room has been serviced each day you'll return to find furnishings in a brand new colour scheme.
The restaurant has a varied menu featuring plenty of locally caught seafood. Facilities include a beach club, lounge/bar with alfresco seating, outdoor massage area, heated pool and a Jacuzzi. Horse riding, hiking and snorkelling can be organised.
