These are the hottest months in the pampa, with high levels of humidity and tropical showers. During local holiday times January - February, the beaches along the pampa’s Atlantic coast are at their busiest.

March - May

Temperatures in March are still very hot, but begin to cool down pleasantly as autumn gets underway. There is less rainfall than summer and the weather is not so humid. The fiery autumnal foliage is spectacular.

June - August

During these winter months, temperatures are at their lowest and there is often more cloud cover. Rainfall reduces significantly and the climate remains fairly dry.

September - November

The landscapes bloom as spring welcomes warm days, plenty of sunshine and lower humidity in the pampas. Dia de la Tradición in San Antonio de Areco is a must-see if you want the full gaucho experience. During the week-long festival in Nov, the town comes alive with exhibitions of cowboy skills, music, dancing and barbecues.
