Jessica de Gier Tour Leader

After finishing her studies in the 90s, Dutch-born Jessica travelled to Peru to learn Spanish and undertake voluntary work in the Amazonian jungle. She immediately fell in love with the Latin American landscapes, wildlife and nature, and decided to stay just a little longer. Now, getting on for two decades later, Jessica has lived and worked in both South and Central America, and has led tours between Mexico and Panama.

With her passion for food, she set up a café and ran a tour office in the small village of Copán Ruinas in Honduras, where she gained great insight into the Latin American culture and mind-set by living and working alongside local people. Itchy feet got her back on the road, where she still enjoys sharing her enthusiasm of travelling and living in Latin America.
