Edward Welham Operations

Ed lived and worked as a teacher in El Salvador before joining the company in 2006, he graduated in Political Science with a master’s degree in Latin American Politics. This academic background has given him a fascination with the social movements of Central America, whose once-turbulent history has seen enormous political conflict as well as modern success stories. But his interest is not just intellectual: Ed also loves the area for the vibrancy of its people, places and music. 

Ed’s favourite travel memory is of the Independence Day celebrations in El Salvador, which featured nocturnal parades of music, dance and costume, fireworks and a riot of colour and rhythm.
